HR Manager

Irwin & Dow is seeking a dynamic and highly skilled HR Manager to join a growing boutique investment firm located in the DIFC. As the first in-house HR function for the company, this is a unique opportunity for a senior HR professional to take full ownership, develop and implement HR strategies, and become the go-to HR expert in the organization. With a team of around 45 employees, the firm has experienced significant growth and is now ready to bring HR in-house to support further expansion.

The HR Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping the HR strategy and ensuring the successful implementation of policies and practices. From managing HRIS integration to driving employee engagement and development programs, this role requires someone with a strong operational focus as well as the ability to influence and collaborate with senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and manage HR policies and procedures to ensure they align with best practices and regional labor laws.
• Oversee HR administration including compensation and benefits, job descriptions, and KPIs.
• Integrate and manage a new HRIS system for streamlined HR operations.
• Drive employee engagement and development programs to foster a positive workplace culture.
• Lead talent management initiatives, including performance reviews and career development plans.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to shape HR strategies that align with business goals.
• Provide expert HR advice and guidance to all levels of employees.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar HR role within the financial services sector.
• Relevant HR qualification (CIPD preferred).
• Strong understanding of regional labor laws and HR best practices.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and employee engagement skills.
• Proven ability to influence senior leadership and drive HR strategies forward.
• Experience in managing HRIS systems and related technologies.
• Passion for shaping and enhancing HR functions to drive business success.
