Talent Acquisition Specialist
Kara Healthcare is seeking a motivated and experienced Internal Recruiter to join our recruitment team. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and placing healthcare professionals—including nurses, healthcare workers, and residential staff—across various care home settings. This position will involve working closely with our hiring managers to understand staffing needs and ensure a seamless recruitment process.
As a Healthcare Recruiter, you will play a pivotal role in building talent pipelines, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and providing a high level of candidate engagement. The ideal candidate will be proactive, skilled in sourcing candidates, and have experience in the healthcare recruitment sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Talent Sourcing:
- Proactively identify and engage potential candidates through direct outreach, cold calls, and LinkedIn sourcing.
- Maintain a strong candidate pipeline for a variety of healthcare roles, including nurses, medical administrators, and support staff.
Candidate Screening & Interviews:
- Conduct initial phone screenings to assess qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
- Coordinate and facilitate interviews with hiring managers, ensuring a smooth process.
- Review CVs and certifications to verify compliance with job requirements and regulatory standards.
- Perform reference checks and background verifications.
Job Posting & Advertising:
- Write compelling job descriptions and post on relevant job boards, healthcare recruitment platforms, and social media.
- Ensure job advertisements comply with industry standards and healthcare regulations.
Candidate Engagement & Experience:
- Provide an outstanding candidate experience from initial contact through onboarding.
- Keep candidates informed about their application status and next steps.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with healthcare professionals for future recruitment needs.
Compliance & Documentation:
- Ensure compliance with healthcare industry regulations and internal policies throughout the recruitment process.
- Maintain accurate records of candidates, interviews, and hiring processes.
- Track recruitment metrics, such as time-to-hire and candidate quality.
Experience & Skills Required:
- At least 1 year of experience in healthcare recruitment or a related field.
- Proven success in sourcing and placing healthcare professionals.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage candidates and hiring managers effectively.
- Knowledge of healthcare industry regulations, certifications, and licensing requirements.
- Strong attention to detail, particularly in verifying resumes and certifications.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with HR software.
- Knowledge of social media platforms (LinkedIn, Indeed) for sourcing healthcare talent.
