Sourcing Specialist
We are seeking an experienced Sourcing Specialist to join our team at BHI Energy. In this role, you will be responsible for understanding and documenting business requirements, identifying and vetting potential vendors, and negotiating terms and pricing for services, materials, equipment, and supplies. You will ensure vendor compliance with contract terms and product or service specifications, formalize agreements in accordance with company policy, and participate in project and maintenance contractor review meetings as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand and document business requirements related to sourcing needs.
- Identify, evaluate, and vet potential vendors based on business criteria.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions for services, materials, equipment, and supplies with vendors.
- Monitor vendor compliance with contract terms, ensuring that products and services meet specified requirements.
- Formalize agreements in compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Participate in project and maintenance contractor review meetings as required.
