Talent Scout - Nottingham/Derby

Standing Tall is a dynamic not-for-profit organization dedicated to reducing homelessness, one person at a time. We are proud of our success, with 80% of the individuals we support remaining off the streets and maintaining stable jobs 12 months later. In 2023, we were honored with the Social Enterprise UK’s ‘One to Watch’ award. Our mission is simple but powerful: to provide people experiencing homelessness with stable jobs and secure homes. We are expanding rapidly, having already extended our operations to Leeds, Liverpool, and Bristol, in addition to our existing locations in Birmingham, Manchester, and London.

About the Role
We are seeking an exceptional individual to join us as a Talent Scout, responsible for delivering our mission in Nottingham and Derby. You will play a key role in supporting individuals who have experienced homelessness, guiding them into stable jobs and safe housing, while fostering partnerships with local businesses and organizations. This is a perfect opportunity for someone who is driven by social justice and motivated to create lasting change.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and provide ongoing support to individuals who have experienced homelessness, ensuring they secure stable jobs and homes.
• Build and maintain partnerships with local businesses to employ people who have faced homelessness.
• Recruit, train, and support Amici Hosts who provide safe homes for individuals transitioning out of homelessness.
• Oversee the operations and activities of Standing Tall in Nottingham and Derby.

• Assessment Centre: If shortlisted, you will be invited to an assessment day in Birmingham on Tuesday, 11th March from 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Please keep this date free, as we cannot accommodate alternative scheduling. Video interviews may also be part of the process.
